Everything about this jar
Product details
Sidr honey comes from the blossom of the wild beri (jujube) tree and is harvested for only a few weeks a year. That short season is why it is the most expensive honey in Pakistan, and why so much of what is sold as Sidr is not Sidr at all.
Ours is collected from beekeepers working the beri belt, extracted cold, and filtered only through mesh. It is never heated, never pasteurised, never thinned with syrup.
What to expect
- Deep amber to dark brown colour with a heavy, buttery aroma.
- Very thick: pours slowly, especially in winter.
- Raw and unheated: natural pollen and enzymes intact.
- Lab tested for added sugar and moisture on every batch.
Note on crystallisation
Raw honey may granulate in cold weather. This is proof of purity, not a defect. Stand the jar in warm water to soften it.
Not suitable for infants under 12 months.
Ingredients
Raw honey. Nothing else is added and nothing is removed beyond mesh straining.
Origin and how it is made
Gathered from wild beri blossom in the Cholistan belt during its short flowering season. Cold extracted and strained through mesh, never heated.
