Everything about this jar
Product details
This is the ghee our grandmothers made, and we still make it the same way.
Our cows graze freely across the Cholistan desert on wild grasses and seasonal shrubs, no feedlots, no growth injections, no commercial feed. Their milk is set into curd overnight, hand-churned into white butter at dawn, then slow-cooked over a low flame until the grains separate and the aroma fills the room.
Why it is different
- Bilona method: churned from curd, not cream. Slower, lower yield, far better flavour.
- Grass-fed desert cattle: naturally golden colour, grainy texture when set.
- Zero additives: no vanaspati, no dalda, no palm oil, no colour, no essence.
- Batch tested: every batch carries a lab report and a batch number printed on the jar.
How to use
A spoon in daal, on hot roti, in halwa and paratha, or a teaspoon on an empty stomach each morning.
Storage
Keep in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Always use a dry spoon. Grains and firmness in winter are normal and are a sign of purity. Shelf life 12 months.
Ingredients
Milk fat from cow milk. Nothing else is added: no vanaspati, no palm oil, no colour, no preservative.
Origin and how it is made
Milk collected from free grazing herds in the Cholistan belt of southern Punjab. Set into curd overnight, hand churned into white butter at dawn, then slow cooked over a low flame until the grains separate.
